Interasia local charges in Vietnam are the fees Interasia collects at the Vietnamese port on top of ocean freight: terminal handling (THC), the B/L or delivery order fee, seal, telex release, manifest filing and, on some trades, a container imbalance charge (CIC).

Import Interasia local charges are paid by the consignee when collecting the delivery order. Cleaning and maintenance items depend on the cargo type, so check which row applies to your goods.

Interasia charges for reefer, open top and flat rack

Before you book Interasia from or to Vietnam: checklist

Most surprises on Interasia local charges come from five points. Check them on the booking, not after the vessel sails.

• Confirm the port. Port-specific rows exist for Da Nang, Hai Phong, Ho Chi Minh City, so the discharge terminal changes the bill.
• Check the currency on each line. Interasia bills VND on this tariff; USD items are converted at the carrier’s exchange rate on the invoice date.
• Ask who pays CIC and cleaning. CIC is on this tariff, so agree with the consignee who carries it.
• Declare special equipment early. 6 rows apply only to reefer, open top, flat rack or out-of-gauge boxes.
• Count the free days. Free time is set per booking; get it in writing before the vessel arrives.
