Most surprises on Heung-A local charges come from five points. Check them on the booking, not after the vessel sails.

• Confirm the port. Most rows apply to all Vietnam ports, but confirm the terminal anyway: trucking and storage differ.
• Check the currency on each line. Heung-A bills USD and VND on this tariff; USD items are converted at the carrier’s exchange rate on the invoice date.
• Ask who pays CIC and cleaning. CIC is on this tariff, so agree with the consignee who carries it.
• Declare special equipment early. 3 rows apply only to reefer, open top, flat rack or out-of-gauge boxes.
