Before you book CK Line from or to Vietnam: checklist

Most surprises on CK Line local charges come from five points. Check them on the booking, not after the vessel sails.

• Confirm the port. Port-specific rows exist for Hai Phong, Ho Chi Minh City, so the discharge terminal changes the bill.
• Check the currency on each line. CK Line bills USD and VND on this tariff; USD items are converted at the carrier’s exchange rate on the invoice date.
• Ask who pays CIC and cleaning. CIC is on this tariff, so agree with the consignee who carries it.
• Declare special equipment early. 1 rows apply only to reefer, open top, flat rack or out-of-gauge boxes.
• Count the free days. Free time is set per booking; get it in writing before the vessel arrives.
